Policy Exclusions
Fetch Pet Insurance will not pay for costs associated with or resulting from the following:
Pre-existing conditions
Claims filed more than 90 days after treatment are not covered
Prescription food
Grooming and cosmetic procedures
Requirements of Policy Holders
If the policyholder does not provide a comprehensive medical exam for their pet dated within 2 years prior to the policy start date, the first veterinary exam after the policy begins will be considered their pet’s initial exam. Any conditions noted during that visit will be considered pre-existing for the lifetime of the policy.
6-month exclusionary period for orthopedic conditions, cruciate ligaments, and patellar luxation. This can be waived for knees only with a healthy knee exam or check at the vet within 30 days of enrollment. Fetch also has a bilateral exclusion for cruciates.
The illness waiting period is up to 15 days, and the accident waiting period is 0 days.

Fetch Pet Insurance has an app you can use to submit your claims directly. Alternatively, you can also mail or email your claim form with invoice(s) within 90 days of treatment.
