Pet Assure is not a pet insurance company, rather it is a veterinary discount program. Founded in 1995, Pet Assure is now partnered with thousands of vet clinics across the country. Important Note: Pet Assure is currently only available through participating Employee Benefits programs.

Participating vet clinics offer 25% discount to Pet Assure members. You simply show your Pet Assure card and receive an immediate discount.

What’s Discounted?

Participating Pet Assure veterinary practices will give you a 25% discount on ALL medical care provided in the office by the veterinary staff. This includes:

Sick Visits
Dental Cleanings
Dental Exams and X-Rays
Allergy Treatments
Cancer Care
Diabetes Management
Emergency Care
Hospitalization
Routine Care & Vaccines
Spays & Neuters
Surgical Procedures
Tumor Removal

What’s Not Discounted?

Non-medical services such as routine grooming and boarding, outsourced services such as blood work sent to a lab or an outside specialist, mileage fees, and products you take home such as medications and food are not discounted.

Can I use Pet Assure with Pet Insurance?

Absolutely. Pet insurance can be a good option for some pet owners, but it has its gaps, and Pet Assure helps fill those gaps. For example, if a particular treatment is excluded by your pet insurance plan you can still get your 25% Pet Assure discount on treatment. To get the best of both worlds, discounts and coverage, it’s a great idea to add a Pet Assure membership to your pet health insurance plan.
